OUR STORY
I was home after 22 years in corporate with little to do. I was expecting my youngest and looking to keep occupied. A hobby turned into a business and My Sweet Occasion was created in 2019.

Here’s a list of our freshly baked favourite treats, but if you don't see something that you want, we can definitely whip up something special for you. Everything we make is freshly baked to perfection and ready for you to enjoy.
WEDDING CAKE
Happily ever after starts with a dream wedding cake
Our Wedding Cake is freshly baked. No premixes or box mix used. Every cake is made from scratch using tried and tested cake and filling recipes.
Wedding cake tasting is available Tuesday or Wednesday by appointment only. We offer 5 cake flavours and 5 fillings with a 30 minute consultation for R350. Call us now to book your cake tasting.

For those with a sweet tooth
Our Designer Sweetmeats are made fresh on order, and is a real crowd pleaser. The taste of our Designer Sweetmeats is just so unbelievable it will transport you back to your grandmother’s home during Diwali or Eid.

Our cakes are baked from scratch using fresh ingredients. No pre-mix and No box mix.
All cakes are presented on decorated boards.
This is the starting cake price (based on a 3 layer, approx 12-15cm tall, with one topper).

Additional fee for barrel, drip, tiered cakes, speciality flavours, extra toppers or speciality fillings.
Wedding cakes and cakes from four tiers up carry a mandatory delivery fee based on Uber rates. Wedding cakes include an additional set up fee.
